We are set up
to do strickly RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL Panel/Service upgrades (free
estimates) from 60 to 100 or to 200 amperes. At times we may also
do "Pre Paid" pre purchase wiring INSPECTIONS or "pre paid" rewiring estimates.
This is all we do.
ALL essential power for heating, lighting etc. will be "KEPT ON" at all times while a service upgrade is being done. Only a short period (if any) of 1/2 hr of a total power shut down may be required"
The work is scheduled according to your time line.

The cost of a 100 amperes residential "average" service upgrade is aprox. $1,500.00 (as of Jan. 2010) - One of the price affecting factor is how many circuits there are to reconnect back to the new panel and the lenth of the outside conduit. No two service upgrades are alike.
A 200 amp. may cost aprox. $350 to $600 more. - an EXACT price for a service upgrade is given on site after viewing the work - get a free estimate!

We also apply for the City of Winnipeg property tax rebate!
UPDATE: Mar 31, 2009 - MB Hydro financing is available. Interest rates were lowered to 8.5% for general electrical renovations/upgrades and
4.9% for power smart electrical and other renovations.

In most cases ONLY urgent needed work
for approximately 3-5 hours may also may be possible as long as we are doing a
service upgrade at the same time! Any extra work not decided or not
set out initially may NOT BE POSSIBLE OR may only be done
about 2 - 4 weeks later. Initial other work, 3-5 hours, should be included
in the estimate special package with already special lower prices. Work
decided later will be at regular prices
Such urgent needed
work, 3-5 hours or even longer!, may be limited to (in residential): a
receptacle in the kitchen, a washer receptacle, an outdoor receptacle, replace a
defective light fixture etc., repair knob & tube wiring or any thing else
similar which is urgent and required.

MB. Hydro financing is available (for service upgrades and additional wiring, rewiring etc.) from $44.00/mo. on your monthly Hydro bill. We look after ALL paper work, permits, inspection etc.
