DESCRIPTION: ELECTRICAL WORK at: xxxx ave. Wpg., Mb.

To Supply & install a xxxx amperes service c/w a xxx cct capacity main panel. The meter socket will be at the N.E. rear corner outside and the Hydro connection will be at the same area - subject to their approval.

The existing panel will STAY 'AS IS' AS A SUB PANEL UNTILL ALL REWIRING IS DONE. The range cable and the dryer cable will be extended to reach the new panel area. (Arc fault circuit breakers for future rewiring are not included.) PRICE xxx + xxx taxes = xxxxx

REWIRING - Knob & Tube replacement at xxx xxxx ave. Wpg., Mb.

The cost will depend on how much the walls and ceiling will be already opened by the customer mostly BEFORE STARTING the electrical work and how many lights, switches, receptacles etc. are found to be Knob & Tube therefore to be rewired. The 'home owner' will save substancial costs by opening walls and ceilings himself - it has to be aprox. 1 square foot area where the device will be at and also 2 or 3 other areas per device in order to get there with a cable! Once such openings are done, in difficult areas, a fish line (string etc. ) should be there to pull the cable later. This method will be by the hour at $ xxxx /per hour per worker.

Therefore, the 'home owner' agrees to do such access openings throughout.

Since this arrangement generally works well in favour of the 'home owner', I, the 'contractor' will do the work in a more predictable set up manner which should work out to be aproximately xxx hours per point, once the access openings are ALL COMPLETED, instead of going at xxx hrs per point in some areas and xx x hours in other more difficult areas.

Therefore, the rewiring will be done at an houly rate of $70.00per man per hour plus taxes + any materials supplied by us. Example: if each item will take xx hours and there may be about xx items, the labour costs can then be estimated to be aproximately xx hrs or aprox. $xxx + materials of aprox. $xxxxx + taxes. The owner may supply all required materials and devices including arc fault circuit breakers (will need 1).

NOTE: An EXTRA flate rate fee - The cost of the permit fees, time to apply for the permit, time to draw a wiring diagram sketch, and plan all rewiring, oversee all work and meet with the inspector on site will be a set fee of exactly $xxxx plus taxes.

The service upgrade and the rewiring will be done at various inervals to give the home owner time to do more preperations as needed. ALL work should take aprox. 5 weeks. It is scheduled to be started by March 10th, 2009 and to be completed by April 14th, 2009.

Payments: The "home owner' will be making various progress payments assessed and based only on work or part of the work and the time it took to make it already completed. It will also include any materials supplied which are already on site.

The first payment for the service upgrade will be due on the 2nd day of installing the 100 amps service. By then aprox. $xxxxx worth of work on the service upgrade should already be completed.

Rewiring progress payments should be made for every xx man hours of work done on site.

The Contractor accepts and agrees on all of the above.
